For 20+ years, he has played a key role in the Portland region’s innovative experiment to reinvent the American dream of a livable community. One of the founders of the Rail~Volution conference, he has been called one of the nation’s leading practitioners of the New Urbanism. Maria Garcia Berry, Chief Executive Officer CRL Associates, Inc. Ms. Garcia Berry was the Campaign Chair for the nation's largest proposed mass transit expansion effort: the successful FasTracks campaign. As CEO of CRL Associates, Inc., she successfully manages the broad CRL client base and variety of high-profile projects. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Metropolitan State College; a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Public Private Partnership Council. An alumnus of Leadership Denver, she has served on numerous boards including the Regional Transportation District. Clarence W. Marsella, General Manager Denver Regional Transportation District A 30-year transit veteran, Mr. Marsella manages 2,300 employees and an annual operating budget of $330 million for the Denver region public transit agency. He serves on the National Academy of Sciences Transportation Research Board, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Intermodal Transportation Research Institute at the University of Denver.
